Dragonknight Symbol

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm obviously thinking something to do with dragons, but I still wanna have some input. Specifically, if your interested in joining the Dragonknights, I would like your input.

how about a pair of dragonwings? lidk airmen wings only with dragon wings?

i'm in the fallen clan right now, i'm not sure their stance on being in mutiple units, nor yours

I'll have to think about it....I initially would say the more the merrier, but at the same time this is my first serious unit. Well, first unit, really.

back in my old realm we were gonna use this for my red dragon legion so It's only fair to propose it for my new home

I would be honored if this was the symbol of the Dragonknights. I would also be honored if you and Xenobia joined the Dragonknights. However, I would like you to think about the offer first. Also, please think about the symbol. I want to make sure that your sure about it. If you wanted to save it and create a Red Dragon Legion in Midgar, your more than welcome to. I am ok with the use of the symbol but me and xen may have a few more. yes put us down as card carring members of Midgar. I mean you saw my thoughts on the battle with alterra and of course in a practice we can give you the anwser in person to being dragonkinights for face to face is the best way to deliver a judgment of such worth.

got something thatd be easier to draw on a shield, like it looks bad ass, i just think that itd be nice if it was easy to draw

Ahnz, you have some awesome designs. But I'm going to have to go with the dragon this time around.....no offense meant bro. I would like to see more of your designs though, so post em if you have em. I'm sure that we can come up with some ideas for em.

i was trying to think of one for the realm rather than the unit, and no offense is taken. I just think that if you are going to have a symbol, you'll want to put it on something, and it always means more if you paint it yourself, and IMO that looks a little difficult to put on something.

well, it wasnt the easiest thing to draw, but i tried to keep it resembling the original as best i could while making it a little more basic.

I think the first dragon was awesome, and I like the one on the red and gold background. Hogarth, do you have an opinion of either one? Whether functionality, design problems, anything like that?

Well I jus am a fan of heraldry anyway but xen is the artist of this team but she can draw almost anything if you give her time so either dragon works now as for function the red dragon would make an awesome baner but then xen likes the second I prefer the dragon gold the back drop black and the accents in red so it stands proudly as an example gold dragons represent the best of men.

I like it. And Xen isn't the only artist....I happen to be handy with pens and such myself
I will say this though, she's probably better than me.

Tyr once the symbols ready we can just make a stencil.
For about six months but already been to quite a few events my first was the Olympics but I still need to improve. But i know xens not the only artist the way it sounds makes sense since the code of the dragon knight warrents those colors. Bravey and lack of fear means gold on a dark page like a candle in the dark. sorry But yeah I was always hounded by personal heraldry cause my Dag mentor spent 15 years sca.

Btw, I'm coming up with designs for the different ranks, and should have the descriptions posted soon. The rank of Dragonknight will use the same symbol as the unit. Have you guys checked out the ranks and such?

lol my friend and his whole family does SCA, they have since he was well, he has done it really his whole life :p i spare with him when he is in town and we have brought them to dag a couple times, they are fun to fight with :p

Not near as good as him but I just get crazy and have a tendcy to snacth a spear away from spearmen. I love the ranks being armorless has beneifits I tend to resemble a beorn when I fight somtimes berserking and the like. But then again I try and do good or bad it differs on the battles and days.

Armor is still allowed in the Dragonknights....in fact, I can't wait til I can start building mine.

Yeah but you can't initate a grapple in armor. of course armors a prefrence I mean I may getr chain a bit later but for now grab and hold for multi stabbings work.

Not evil just have seen the urk kuldar in action and team grapple is effective. But for the record you want me to kill any realm I will fight but I will glady kill narnias for free.
