| I personally think that we need more practice before we head to any large scale events, or any small/midsize events in the OK/MO area. Does anyone else agree? | |

| Events are not just a place to put your weekly battle practice to use, they're also places to learn. The more events you go to, the better you get to practice against people with different styles, as well you can ask Veterans for help and get your name out there. GO TO EVENTS! AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE! | |

| I know that Kurai, and the guys do to. lol I keep telling them Ragnarok stories, you'd think that they would be sick of them by now. Anyways, I want all of us to work on our teamwork before we head off to Rag, or Gates, or any of the other big ones. It also gives us time to save up money so that way we can get a bus or something like that (or help with a bus). I suppose I should edit my initial post though.....I still want us to go to Ludi, War of the Roses, realm battles, stuff like that. Just not Rag/Gates size events. YET. Also, I want everyone's thoughts and feelings on the subject. I already know yours......you miss us. | |

| so that one other guy in the red pants at WOTR that was incredibly awesome....you know the one that wore the shades the whole time and was friends with the red headed guy with pink swords they both looked like amptguarders
well...he made an appearance at the end of the cancelled alterran practice saturday that we all went to anyways. **** Alexander and shove the **** easter eggs up his *** no one cancels fighting for easter egg hunting.
Anyways, Mor Lach and I learned a lot of new technique from this guy (well...the parts that I could see...he was fast) and if you go to events, there is always someone willing to teach you some stuff. Mackavell was actually teaching shot techniques at WOTR
anyways...go to events.

| I think you're right about the BIG events Aodhfin. I need more practice against a larger variety of fighter first. Besides, I'm usually too broke to go anywhere out of state. For now, I fear I shall have to be content with learning to kill anything in the area. But, whatever local events I can make would be cool. First nearby, then the WORLD!! | |

| not to cause any hostility or anything, but are you saying that midgar shouldnt do big events just because you cant make it to them? idk, sounds a little selfish to me, but what do i know right? | |

| Um, Ahnz? His reason for agreeing: "I need more practice against a larger variety of fighter first." His way of consoling himself because he WANTS to go to Rag: "Besides, I'm usually too broke to go anywhere out of state."
Slight difference, don't ya think?

| I say, if you can make it to an event, GO! Regardless of skill level. You only get so good fighting locals. Hell, it's true of me where I am in Centrawoven. If I don't go to events I wont get any better. Same thing will happen to you guys. I know you're not saying "Don't go to any", but go to Gates or War or Rag if you have the chance. To hell with how good or bad you think you might be, go see for yourself how you measure up, then learn from anyone who's willing to teach! | |

| Sound advice. Speaking of Gates, I still don't know if I'm going or not. Amanda has pretty much avoided the conversation so far. | |
