let's play count the hits on the sluffer
the dude with 2 swords scored 1 on his legs
roy scored 2 one on dudes back and 1 on his un armored legs
I scored a total of 8 hits on him taking 2 to my torso armor and one to my forearm
the 3 of us took our legal hits then called death ,I think Roy should have not called death so quick as he only took enough to destroy his armor and not kill him but as it stands for record midgar honors its hits
see how I walked away in disgust after calling a legit death on myself.

Keep in mind he did have chainmail, which was 4 pts of armor. Also, keep in mind, that he might not have felt the hits because of the chainmail. I saw a few there that I would have taken unarmored as I ran by, that were very close to grazes. Any armor, leather or other, can take a lot of the OOMF out of shots, and turn run by shots like that (when he's running by and someone's reaching for him) into feeling like a graze.

Alternatively, yes, he could have been ignoring hits, because by that point I think he had gotten ticked off about an armor issue with another fighter. I really don't know, but I also don't think that any of us should be starting the cycle of calling others sluffers and rhinohiders. It just builds up to more drama. Fight, have fun, ignore people not taking their hits, and just hit em harder. Granted, in Amtgard, we can't slam em down and beat on em if they do sluff. BUT, we can definitely hit harder and harder, and if need be, pick up heavier weapons and hit ever harder, if it comes to it.

Also, I would advise either talking to the fighter, or to the person running the practice about it. Bringing it here won't really do anything, cuz I don't have any influence in Amtgard.

yeah it's debatable about his chain mail but please note that his first two hits were on his legs ,which were unarmored.
I call this guy anything I damned well please because he Kneed me in the ribs on purpose and hafted roy twice, again ,on purpose.

Edit-while I am still on my soap box here,I will guarantee to you that he felt my hits as I was putting everything into them.
this guy pissed me off so badly that it was influencing me on the entire amptguard group.
remember how connor said don't let that guy speak for you all because it looks bad on you all, same instance here.
yeah yeah hit hard take light but he was being physical in a manner that would be against any games rules i.e the purposeful hits like kneeing me and hitting roy with the haft of his weapon.
I am over this now, next topic
