Just thinking out loud here...
Titles that relate with dragons i assume
or perhaps mages and technomages titles might also be appropriate

assuming that you all will ever allow healing, will healing ranks be unit or realm?

I will have more to say later

Actually, realm titles wouldn't have anything to do with dragons, but rather reflect on the character, actions, and fighting style of the fighter/non-com. Basically, the possibilities are endless. Well, as long as the titles are in good taste. I think I already posted about that.......

Healing is allowed. I'll talk to Kurai about it more, but I think that there should be a healer for each unit and at least one healer in every battle. I mean, if healers are in the Dagorhir rules, why not have em and get used to em? Doesn't make sense to me. As for healing ranks, I'll have to mull that one over, I've never really thought about healing RANKS before. Trust me, things are still growing and evolving and expanding. There will be a lot happening in the next weeks and months, and it's all pointed towards BA and epicness.

healers are allowed but have to recite a poem unless there are games where other rules are applied...

This is very true and is explained further in the MoA. Nicely pointed out Tyr

Actually, I'm quite interested in the Healers ranks...that seems to be where I tend to excell. Is this fighter-cleric style, or straight up healer? Keep me posted! Also, if there's anything I can do to help, let me know. monkey

Healers don't actually have ranks, if I remember right. From the MoA standpoint, it's a fighter/cleric deal.

6.8. Healing
6.8.1. The Healer cannot heal her/himself or their own equipment.
6.8.2. To heal a person, the Healer must be in direct physical contact with the injured person.
6.8.3. A healer may not heal a person while either are under direct attack. If the Healer or injured person is attacked or distracted, or contact is broken for any reason, the entire Poem of Healing must be read or recited again.
6.8.4. A Poem of Healing must then be recited or read aloud. The minimum length of a poem of healing is 180 syllables and must be approved at event check-in.
6.8.5. When the healer completes reading the Healing Poem, all wounds and any items held by the wounded fighter are healed or repaired (i.e. armor, bow, shield, etc.).

Rank 1: have a poem and get it to pass
rank 2: have said poem memorized
rank 3: in a battle of at least 30 minutes long, manage to heal at least 5 people.

i just made that up off the top of my head, it isnt anything set in stone, i just think healing is important as anything else if it's allowed, and why not have ranks for it like everything else. i mean, being a higher rank healer doesnt mean you can heal any more than usual

This sounds pretty good.....I think that Kurai will be there at practice today, so I can talk to him about it. I like the idea, and he might too (this is all political mumbo jumbo, we'll probably incorporate the healer ranks, maybe add to them, stuff like that).
