PostSubject: The Armorsmiths Guild: Rules and Guidelines   Thu Aug 20, 2009 12:43 pm

The Rules to becoming an Armor smith:

1. You must be a participating member of Midgar.

2. All armor, to count for your guild rank, must pass a strict safety check and be used in battle.

3.
All Armor smith hopefuls must attend at least one guild sponsored armor construction class before they will be allowed into the guild.

4. All Armor smiths will be expected to share their knowledge with the rest of the guild.

5. An Expert Armor Smith may promote any deserving member as far as Craftsman Weapon Smith.

6. A Master Armor Smith may promote any deserving member as far as Expert Weapon Smith.

7. A majority vote of the Master Armor Smiths may promote any deserving member to Master Armor Smith.

8. Ranking requirements:

a) Beginner Armor Smith: Must construct at least one armor of any
type. (A bracer is suggested for new members)

b) Armor Smith: Must construct at least 2 bracers, and pauldron.

c)
Journeyman Armor Smith: Must construct at least bracers, one pauldron, and two greaves. They must host one armor
construction class.

d) Craftsman Armor Smith: Must construct at
least 2 bracers, one pauldrons, two greaves, and two vambraces. They must host 2 armor construction classes.

e) Expert Armor Smith: Must
construct at least 2 bracers, 2 pauldrons, two greaves, two vambraces, and one piece of torso armor. They must host 3 armor construction classes.

f)
Master Weapon Smith: Must construct at least one fully functional and battle tested suit of armor. The suit(s) must include, but is not limited to: pauldrons, bracers, greaves, torso armor, and helmet (the helmet must be well built and safe, even if it is not for regular use). It is
strongly suggested that they design a new innovative armor design or
construction method that proves safe for use in battle. They must have
hosted 5 armor construction classes and at least one annually
thereafter.
