Kreig, as the Blood General of Midgar, you had accepted the responsibilities of leading the warriors into battle, of training them, bettering them, and being a bloodied example to them. You won the day, and accepted the title. But alas, it is now your shame.

Kreig, you are stripped of your lofty, blood streaked title. A Blood General.......you are no more.

very well then, if that is you decision then so be it. Since I was obviously given no chance to uphold my title, pass it on to whom I wished, or was even asked as to the reason for my absence, then I shall not offer such things. Midgar and Dagorhir are important to me, but real life must come first, and if that is not an acceptable point of view, then I'm sorry you think that way. While it is probably for the best, since I am not a leader of men, but a follower of zen and war.

May the new Blood General of Midgar outshine her last.

And a warrior feels no shame for the loss of words before his name, for they are only words, they have no power and will not save you on your final day. Mettle and ideals are the forces that sculpt a mighty warrior, so this is not the minotaur's shame, only the shortening of his name.

Real life must come first, this is true. But no one, not you, nor Judgement, nor Taeraelaes has felt the need to pass on any news as to what is happening outside of Midgar. In Midgar, we are friends. We are family. Outside of Midgar, it is no different. Judgement didn't participate in the battle for Blood General for the simple fact that he hadn't been active enough, and so did not feel worthy to accept the title if he did win. You fought though. You accepted the responsibilities. Not showing up, then making an appearance because someone else said something on the boards, then not showing up again for almost a month, is not the actions of a leader.

Real life must come first. But if you have committed to Midgar as well, which you had with this title, than the least you could do is send a message letting someone who'd be at practice know what was going on. There was no reason or way to uphold the title, or pass it on. There is only one Blood General each year, and he or she is chosen through sweat and blood. If the Blood General cannot lead, then he or she is no longer the Blood General, and there won't be one til the next year.

I cannot say this enough. Real life must come first. But when you are in a position of leadership of any kind, and you have accepted responsibility for something, you must stay in contact with those that will be there at practice, whether it's the president of the realm, a unit mate, or just someone that could pass the message along. I would rather be told that someone won't be at practice, or that all hells is breaking loose in their life so they won't be there for a while, then just nothing at all.

Aodhfin Arach Cara Duinn Ithir, (I copied that from your back story that I downloaded), that was succinct, intelligent, and just. All the qualities of a good leader.
Also, I would just like to say; I RETURN!! Twisted Evil
But, I still have at least one more mandatory Saturday to go. Sad
Yet, at least I am now back in the state. I apologise for not posting while I was gone; I had no access to a computer.
