the dollar doesn't mean as much since its U.S 1.60 to CI 1$ other words expensive pirate shit and I do mean shit,nothing you cant get in the states since it was all disneyfied grabage everywhere,not to mention it was ash Wednesday so a lot of places were closed for holiday
now for the kicker
saved 30 in Cayman so I am bound to Jamaica 30 dollars ahead and we hit a fucking severe Gail with sustained winds of 60 knots (something like 64 standard mph)with gusts of 80 knots.needless to say the boat was tossing with waves coming up on the forth deck(four stories above the water,fucking huge waves) but around 6am on the day we were to make port in Jamaica the captain sounded off and said the Jamaican port authority has closed all ports to traffic and we were forced to sail back to Galveston,extra day on the boat yay but no Jamaica.
you could here the entire ship say shit when the captain said that which was funny but they made up for it by refunding all port taxes so I ended up not only 30 dollars but 70 dollars ahead by the time we made galveston 3 days later.
