based off this tutorial <--link
still have a lot of clean up to do but aside from aesthetics it is a functional weapon, had Chelle beat me with it last night and I would say a pass, but that isn't final till it's on the field

case your wondering

this is the blade, spray glued, daped and taped,it's 6 layers thick and very durable

As far as I know, it would basically be a glaive: sword on a pole. Short or long, it shouldn't be a problem. We can go over schematics and stuff on Sunday, if you want.

Just don't tell anyone it's Vulcan, ok? This is medieval/dark fantasy stuff, not so much on the sci-fi/Star Wars/Star Trek. If I remember right, there actually is a Chinese weapon that resembles that.

Shocked Please, for the love of..of....EVERYTHING. Don't show up as Spock......if you want the pointy ears, be an elf. Or an orc. Or a goblin. But please don't be a Vulcan. It's going to make me laugh til I involuntarily wet myself, and then kill you until you involuntarily bleed from very large holes.

ok all bullshit aside
how legal is the Lirpa because I started building it,have the bottom bashing end completed and before I add the blade...
this is a weapon constructed as a dual use weapon slashing end and bashing end so what is your say Adofhin for use in actual combat?

Sigh.....if it was a polearm, no biggie. But as a double ended weapon? No bueno, unfortunately. A double ended weapon has to have 18" of cylindrical padding for the striking surface, and it has to adhere to all the other rules as well. Additionally, it would have to be 4-7 ft long, and it only counts as a blue. Finally, both ends have to pass for stabbing, or neither end can be used for stabbing.
